Alzheimer Center Tzippora Fried
Establishment of the Alzheimer center was initiated and generously sponsored by Mrs. Jackie Fried, in memory of her late mother, Tzippora Fried that suffered from Alzheimer. Jackie Fried Sponsored the center hoping to help families deal with the challenges of caring for people with Alzheimer. She is passionate about this cause, having been through so many challenges as primary caregiver for her beloved mother Tzippora.
The center’s goals are to raise public awareness throughout the community about Alzheimer’s disease, to provide advocacy, ongoing support and individual intervention with patients and their families.
In order to further ease the hardship of these families and augment their support system, the Tzipporah Fried Alzheimer Center offers fully confidential counseling and ongoing personal guidance to families of Alzheimer’s patients, including advocacy and active follow-up.
The professionally staffed centers offer support to 2,263 families throughout Israel with the addition of five new branches in Ashdod, Bat Yam, Netivot, Petah Tikva and Rosh Ha’Ayin.
There are approximately 80,000 individuals with Alzheimer in Israel at any given time. The Tzipora Fried Center fulfills an urgent need for information, support and guidance with lectures by top Israeli doctors, Caregivers seminars, Caregivers activities to relax from the difficulty of caring for a loved one with Alzheimer and in person support and guidance.
